Kavinder asks councilors to prepare for ULB polls

JAMMU, July 24: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister today convened a meeting of BJP councilors at RS Pura to rally the party cadre for the forthcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) polls in the Union Territory of J&K.
The meeting was attended by prominent party members, including BJP Jammu South, president, Rekha Mahajan, former Minister, Sham Chowdhary, H.S Pammi, Aakash Chopra general secretary, Dev Raj, Satpal Puppy, president of Municipal Committee RS Pura, and various other dedicated councilors representing different wards.
Kavinder Gupta urged the party workers to actively engage with the people of their respective areas and effectively communicate the significant achievements of the Modi Government. He referred to the last nine years of the Modi rule as a “golden period” for the country, highlighting the unprecedented strides made in various sectors that have positively impacted the lives of millions.
Kavinder expressed his deep satisfaction over the remarkable development witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir during the nine years of Modi’s rule. He acknowledged the immense strides taken in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare, which have played a pivotal role in the State’s growth and prosperity.
He highlighted the key pillars that form the foundation of BJP’s vision for India’s progress. He emphasized that the party’s ideology, rooted in the principles of cultural heritage and national pride, is aimed at fostering unity and building an inclusive society that caters to the aspirations of every individual.
Kavinder asserted that the BJP, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has consistently strived to implement policies that empower the common people. He cited various landmark initiatives such as “Make in India,” “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” “Ayushman Bharat,” and “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,” which have brought about tangible and positive changes in the lives of millions of citizens across the country.
Kavinder encouraged the BJP councilors and party workers to be well-prepared and proactive in their respective areas in view of upcoming ULB elections. He emphasized the importance of showcasing the party’s accomplishments and development initiatives to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir, to garner their continued support and trust.
