Kavinder calls on Madhav, discusses delimitation

NEW DELHI, Dec 31: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta called on BJP stalwart leader Ram Madhav and held threadbare discussion on various issues concerning the UT of J&K.
At the outset of the meeting, Kavinder apprised Ram Madhav about the draft of Delimitation Commission report in which six Assembly seats have been added in Jammu region and one in the Valley. He said that the Commission has accomplished an immaculate job in preparing this draft report whereby the alleged discrimination with the different regions will be eliminated once and for all.
Later, Kavinder also discussed the political scenario in J&K with Ram Madhav especially with regard to upcoming polls. He said that the prospects of BJP are bright in the UT since the party has taken so many pragmatic steps in the favour of common people ensuring their welfare on different counts. He said that the initiatives by the Centre have transformed the development profile of the UT.
He said that peace on borders, new industrial policy, pumping of colossal funds for tourism, tightening noose around terror mongers, raising civic infra, hospitals of national repute, educational institutions, etc are the things which have come up in the region for the first time and therefore people are inclined towards the party.
Ram Madhav expressed contentment over the entire scenario in the UT of J&K and asked Gupta to continue with the good work by mobilizing the ground level workers in the region as they are back bone of the party because their connect with the masses holds the key to success of the party in polls.
He also asked Kavinder to take cue from the ideology of RSS in accomplishing works in the UT of J&K claiming that the organization played a significant role in bringing BJP to pinnacle of politics in the country. He said that going by the strategy and achievements of BJP in J&K, it is expected that the party will fetch a good number of seats in the upcoming Assembly elections and will be in the position to form a Government on its own.
