Kavinder distributes school uniforms at GPS Pakka Talab

JAMMU, Aug 13: A program was organised at Government Primary School, Pakka Talab, Bahu, Zone Gandhi Nagar near here, today in which school uniforms were provided to all the students studying in the school. On the occasion, former DyCM and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest in the function.
Others who accompanied him were Rajeev Charak, Ankush Gupta, Anuradha Charak, Vivek Patyal, Nayan Gupta, Dalbir Singh
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that Government is fully committed to provide free education to all the sections of the society. He promised that he will be available round the clock for the betterment of the younger generation. He said, teachers should adopt new learning methods to make them competent enough, so that they can play a big role in their future for the development of themselves, family and the nation as well.
Gupta further said that in today’s world, a teacher’s role is quite multifaceted.  The teachers should spread awareness among the students about all the schemes launched by the Government for the betterment of the students.
On the demand of school administration for provision of ceiling fans and desks, Gupta assured them that he would take up the matter with concerned authorities and NGOs, so that necessary action could be taken up in this regard. School administration also brought in the notice of MLA that a HT Line is passing over the school building and un-manned transformer is lying outside school gate which can cause havoc any time.
Gupta immediately called the PDD Executive Engineer to take necessary action at the earliest to avoid any eventuality.
