JAMMU, July 5: Speaker Legislative Assembly and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated Dr Punj’s Artemis Hospital, Manokamna Fertility Centre and metabolic and Bariatric surgery institute at Gandhi Nagar.
He was accompanied by Baldev Billoria, Ajay Pargal, Er Ashwai Khosla, Dr Rajan Punj, Dr Monica Punj, Dr Gagandeep Singh, Dr Gagan Khanna, Dr Rajneesh Salwan, Dr JS Sidhu, Dr Sneha Kaul, Kulbir Charak, Vijender Dutta, Ankush Gupta and prominent citizens of the area.
Dr Punj highlighted the various aspects of the treatments available in the institute and the benefits it is going to give to the public of the Jammu in particular and the state as a whole.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a blessing for many couples who cannot conceive through natural conception and it is hard fact that due to sedentary life style such as poor dietary habits, stress, pollution and harmful radiations this thing has become common now days, he said.
Gupta welcomed the opening of this medical institute here and said that it is the need of the hour that such institute should come up in Jammu to help the needful as the people of the area has to travel long distances and sometimes have to visit outside State for specialized treatments, it is going to give the aggrieved person a lot of help in getting the treatment at his/her doorstep.
