JAMMU, Aug 6: Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister, along with former Chairman JMC and corporator Rajkumar Tarkhan, Vinay Kumar Gupta, Narinder Gupta Koki district secretary Jammu and Jagdish Raj Proch, Ward president handed over the Baba Yamuna Puri community hall to the dwellers of the area which costs Rs 2.5 crore at Ward No.51 in Channi Himmat, near here, today.
In his address, Kavinder Gupta said that BJP believes in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwas’ as a result of which the party has been progressing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. He said that it is the performance of the party and its Government on ground especially in terms of development that speaks for itself.
Kavinder also said that it was a long pending demand of the residents of the area which has been fulfilled today. He asserted that under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing unprecedented development in every nook and corner of the Union Territory, adding that BJP stands fully committed to fulfill the pressing demands of the people.
The BJP leader extended his appreciation to the Prime Minister for the inclusion of three key stations from J&K UT – Jammu Tawi, Udhampur, and Budgam – in the comprehensive redevelopment plan for 508 railway stations across the nation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He emphasized that this initiative holds immense potential in elevating connectivity within the Union Territory. The redevelopment of these railway stations is poised to not only enhance regional linkages but also contribute significantly to economic growth, ultimately elevating the overall standard of living.
Kavinder also commended the efforts of Rajkumar Tarkhan in addressing the problems of general public. He also impressed upon the elected corporators to display extraordinary activeness to ensure the overall development of their respective wards.
Referring to work started today, he said the execution of works has been initiated and it will be completed with no compromise on the quality of work so that people don’t have to suffer in the future.
