JAMMU, July 7: Senior leader of BJP and Ex-Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta today inaugurated a road connecting International Daily Rising School (IDRS) via Sunjawan.
The Road connects Sunjawan with Chowadi. It has decreased the distance for the students coming from – Channi Himmat, Trikuta Nagar, Digiana, Gandhi Nagar, Talab Tillo by approximately 3 kilometres and also reduced the travel time by 10 minutes.
Kavinder inaugurated the Road in the presence of Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, ex-MLC Charanjeet Singh Khalsa and Lucky Puri (Corporator, Trikuta Nagar). The inaugural event was organized by International Daily Rising School Jammu in the presence of Chairperson Supinder Kour, Managing Director Raghav Gupta, Director Principal of the School Dr Atul Hans and other staff members.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder lauded staff and management of the School for their continuous efforts to educate and raise the students with modern techniques and well equipped classrooms.
JMC Mayor informed the school management and others present on the occasion that new approach roads are also in the pipeline to provide various routes heading towards school.
