JAMMU, July 27: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today inaugurated the upgraded lanes and drains in Ward No 51 Channi Himmat.
Speaker said that “development works across Gandhi Nagar constituency are in full swing and instructions have been issued to cover each and every pocket”, adding that Government is resolute to create better living conditions for the people.
Speaker told the locals that more development projects will be launched in the area for ensuring better amenities. He said that Rs 10 lakh each has been sanctioned for the upgradation of lanes and drains of each ward of Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Later, Speaker gave a patient hearing to the grievances put forth by the locals. He assured that all their grievances will be redressed and directed the officers to take the requisite steps in this regard.
