JAMMU, June 26: The BJP Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has established new paradigms for progress in Jammu and Kashmir by providing vistas of opportunities to people belonging to all shades of life and setting up world class infrastructure to augment facilities to the common man.
This was stated by Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister while kick-started work of Tubewell at Channi Himmat with an estimated cost of Rs 1.66 crore. On the occasion, Rajkumar Tarkhan, Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee, JMC and Neena Gupta Corporator Ward No.50 were also present.
In his address, Kavinder said that BJP believes in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwas’ as a result of which the party has been progressing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. He said that it is the performance of the party and its Government on ground especially in terms of development that speaks for itself. He also stated that this tubewell will supply water to at least 20 thousand dwellers of the area.
Kavinder stated the he is very much impressed from Rajkumar Tarkhan for his loyal working for the welfare of the general public.
Kavinder said that the Union Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has launched a series of schemes for the common people across the nation. He said that these schemes cover every section of the society including the old age people who figure among the priorities of the Government.
While briefly making the people aware about various schemes, Kavinder asserted that the BJP workers and activists and workers are leaving no stone unturned in making the people aware about various schemes launched by the Government besides highlighting its achievements. He appealed to the people to come forward and avail the benefit of the schemes best suited to them.
Rajkumar Tarkhan, in his address, said that BJP believes in the overall development of every nook and corner of the nation and the people of this Union Territory can easily feel the difference with development works going on at unprecedented pace. He appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of PM for overall development, peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
Among those who were present included Jagdish Raj Proch, Ward president; S.K Mengi, Jeewan Singh Charak, Raghubir Singh Charak, Mohinder Paul, Mirza Baghat, Dinesh Kumar, Manohar Lal, Mahaveer Gupta, Dinesh Kumar, etc.
