Kavinder meets Union Minister, discusses youth empowerment

JAMMU, Aug 28: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, today met Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region and Ministry of Co-operation, B.L Verma here today and discussed various issues concerning the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Kavinder Gupta shared insights with Union Minister, B.L Verma about the current state of affairs in Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the transformative initiatives undertaken by the Modi Government since the abrogation of Article 370. He underlined that these efforts have ushered in an era of unprecedented development in the region.
Gupta apprised the Union Minister about the initiatives taken by the present Jammu and Kashmir Government in providing new avenues for the youth to tap into the employment sector besides fostering entrepreneurship among the J&K youth.
Union Minister B.L Verma highlighted the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visionary commitment to achieving a 3 Trillion Economy by 2027. He affirmed that this ambitious target would generate a multitude of opportunities for the youth across the country.
The Union Minister encouraged the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to diversify their aspirations and not solely rely on Government jobs. He urged them to leverage the benefits of Central sponsored schemes to become creators of employment opportunities rather than mere job seekers. This approach, he noted, aligns with the broader goals of self-reliance and entrepreneurship envisioned by the Modi Government.
