JAMMU, Jan 23: While conducting grievance redressal at BJP Headquarters, in Jammu, Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister, stressed for a responsive and a pro-active grievance redressal mechanism.
“Reaching out to the people who have nil access to offices and officers is the very essence of such an exercise,” he said and focussed on new techniques and best practices as to how they could redress public issues in a more efficacious way.
Ranbir Singh Pathania, former MLA & J&K BJP Spokesperson, called for reaching out to the last man in the last row while dealing with the day-to-day issues of the people. “Unlimited funds and developmental initiatives have been unleashed by Bharat Sarkar under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi. We need to ensure that people and rather ‘last man in the last row’ gets best out of these schemes/initiatives. We need to be prepared and brace enough to transcend and cash in on the gains of the historic decision of 5th August 2019,” he said.
Amongst other general issues pertaining to compassionate appointments, ex-gratia to accident victims of Ghordi accident, relief to cross-firing victims, proper convening of Gram Sabhas in Uri, drinking water, building permissions, staff shortage, proper voltage electricity, NABARD roads were projected by several deputations who visited the BJP office.
