Kavinder reviews construction work in Leprosy Hospital

JAMMU, Oct 23: Speaker, State Legislative Assembly and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta, today visited Rajeev Gandhi Leprosy Hospital at Gangyal and took stock of the ongoing construction work in the hospital.
While chairing the meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti, which was attended by Medical Superintendent, Dr Neeta; X-En, PWD(R&B), Mohammad Abdullah; X-En, PHE, VK Khajuria; X-En, PDD, Sudhir Gupta and members of the Board including Baldev Billoria, Harbans Chowdhary, Ludramani Sharma, Rakesh Sangral and Jyoti Parkash Gupta directed the officers of JKPCC responsible for maintaining and bringing up new infrastructure in the hospital premises to complete the building in the shortest possible time.
The Speaker also directed officers to give priority to the quality while executing the works in the hospital and also instructed the hospital authorities to fix priorities of the works required to be done.
Meanwhile, Gupta approved money for making operational the CT-Scan Machine and Ultra Sound Machine of the hospital which will benefit the people of the area in particular and Jammu as a whole by sharing the work load of other hospitals.
He also donated two Air Conditioners from his salary for the hospital which will benefit the hospital in running the CT-Scan and Ultra Sound machines in a better way and will also benefit the general public visiting the hospital.
Gupta assured the members of the Samiti that he will not leave any stone unturned to equip this institution with modern facilities and also invited their contribution in making this institution a model one for others to follow.
