Kavinder takes stock of basic amenities

JAMMU, Jan 8: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today toured Jeevan Nagar area of Gandhi Nagar constituency to listen problems of the people.
He was accompanied by Baldev Singh Billowria, Vinay Gupta, Pawan Singh, Harbans Choudhary local BJP workers and prominent persons of the area.
Addressing the gathering there Gupta blamed Congress, NC and PDP for playing with the sentiments of the people and said the Modi Government’s development policy is based on consistency and clarity. Asserting that the union Government has a very strong development policy, Gupta said it is making a distinction and the State has witnessed a vast inflow of funds for the development projects in the State and this policy is bearing fruits.
He said that concerted efforts are being made to develop Gandhi Nagar constituency on modern lines with basic amenities like better road connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water, healthcare facilities and better education infrastructure.
Gupta also met with several deputations on the occasions which apprised him of their demands pertaining to up-gradation of interior roads of Maha Kali Nagar area, lanes and drains, regular supply of drinking water, supply of ration as per scale fixed by the Government.
