Kavinder urges Centre to bring investors in J&K

JAMMU, Oct 3: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta today urged the Central Government to take necessary steps for bringing industrial investors in the Union Territory.
Gupta said that now the Article 370 which barred the development of J&K is gone and initiatives for development are need of the hour amid crumbling economy due to COVID-19 pandemic. He said that big industries and companies were needed to bring in the UT, so that, the unemployment would decline in J&K.
“Bringing industries and Multi National Companies (MNCs) in J&K would cater the unemployment rate by hiring the local youth,” Gupta said and added that this would boost the economy of J&K UT.
Gupta has also met a deputation and listened to their issued being related to basic amenities.
He assured the deputation that the problems shall be discussed with the respective departments’ officials for their quick disposal. He asserted that all problems of the people will be solved in a time bound manner as J&K Union Territory is on the path of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He further said that the development is the core agenda of BJP and soon the entire UT will witness the same which was ignored by previous Government of the erstwhile state.
