Jammu, Aug 9: An orientation programme on scholarship opportunities for students was organized by K.B Public School under the supervision of Principal Nehreer Khan. The lectures were delivered by advocates, Trisha Gupta and Sarita Rajput, regarding opportunities and benefits available to tribal communities.
Their expertise and passion for the subject helped students understand the importance of these initiatives in promoting inclusivity and equity.
These initiatives aim to bridge the gap and empower tribal communities, enabling them to reach their full potential. By providing access to education , livelihood opportunities, and economic empowerment, the Government strives to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
The orientation programme aimed to create awareness about various scholarship schemes available to ST students and guide them on the application process.
The resource persons, emphasized the importance of these scholarship schemes in promoting higher education among ST students.
The programme was attended by students and teachers of the school .The workshop was very informative and encouraged the ST to take the advantages of the opportunities and strive for academic excellence.
