JAMMU, Nov 28: An inter-school English debate competition was organized by KC Gurukul Public School PALOURA, under the banner of Sahodya School Complex Jammu in its school premises, today.
Prestigious schools of Jammu and Udhampur participated in this event in order to strengthen cordial relations amongst the CBSE Schools, besides this opportunity provided young scholars to excel in co-scholastic areas. Sanjita Mahajan, chairperson KCGPSP was the chief guest on this occasion.
The eminent judges were Rakhi Jamwal from APS BD Bari, Bindia Tickoo from Gandhi Memorial College Barnai and Sayka Bano from KC Gurukul College of Education. They were full of praise for the competitors for their expressive abilities and mastery over their accomplishment. It was a real treat to watch the team participation of different schools.
Muskan Ara of KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura dominated the show by bagging 1st Prize. 2nd Prize was awarded to Ananya Sharma of Jodhamal Public school and consequently Aayushvi Sharma of Army Public School Domana and Shriya Rishi of the host school bagged the third Prize. The team trophy was collected by the host school KC Gurukul Public School. Amongst the participating schools were Banyan International School, KC International, BSF Public School Paloura, KC Gurukul Public School Udhampur, Sainik School Nagrota.
Vijay Puri, Academic Director of the school encouraged the participants for their unprecedented caliber. Sanjita Mahajan congratulated the winners and appreciated their efforts.
The debate ended in an intellectual note. The prizes and certificates were given by Arvind Mahajan, the chairman of the host school.
