JAMMU, Sept 30: KC Public School in collaboration with International Volunteer Foundation organised a dry ration distribution camp to mark culmination of weeklong ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ at Roop Nagar here.
Purpose of the event was to aware children and people about the importance of nutritious food in day-to-day life. Ration kits were donated to needy families on this occasion while Amarendra Kumar Mishra, Principal KC Public School said that they firmly believe that compassion is something all of us need to receive and give.
“With this vision in mind KC Public School started the first-of-its-kind staff initiative to get involved in Round Square Service Project to spread kindness and happiness during pandemic,” he informed adding that the School joined hands with International Volunteer Foundation to donate dry ration kits among slum dwellers.
Staff members of KC Public School donated generously for the noble cause and distributed ration kits to 50 needy families.
The event was organized with the help of Kiran Kumar Sharma, chairman, International Volunteer Foundation while Ajay Singh Saini, executive member; Mukesh Gupta and Manik Jamwal were also present on the occasion.
