SRINAGAR: Minister for Education Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today urged the State’s business community to help the Government in creating conducive environment to promote trade, commerce, entrepreneurship and investment in the State.
Interacting with a delegation of the newly elected office-bearers of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) who called on the Minister earlier today, Bukhari said with a newly established body that mainly constitutes young members, the Government expects regeneration and expansion of the businesses and economic activity in the state.
The Minister said it is imperative that all the stake holders including both Government as well as private players will work together to ensure a steady growth in various vital sectors of J&K’s economy. The Minister added that the step would greatly help in regenerating livelihood to unemployed youth, besides providing a fillip to State’s economic activity.
He urged upon the delegation to work in synergy with their counterparts in Jammu for enhancing industrial growth, expanding social inclusion and further deepening the social responsibility of the business community.
Javeed Ahmad Tenga, President; Nasir Ahmad Khan and Fayaz Ahmad Punjabi, Vice Presidents; Gazalla Amin, General Secretary; Muzaffar Maajid, Joint Secretary General and Sheikh Imran, Treasurer were part of the delegation.
