Srinagar, Apr 1: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today lauded Governor,NN Vohra, for displaying administrative competency during his tenure and expressed hope that new dispensation would come to the expectations of common people of the State.
The Chamber said the Governor of J&K has raised the bar by several notches in terms of governance and administrative responsiveness. “His tenure has shown the general public the impact a capable and competent leadership has on the administration and a road map for effective future governance is in place,” the KCCI said.
“Media reports based on insights from senior leaders and other inputs point to the intense levels of pressure which he endured. In the end, it was just too much for any human being. We pay respectful homage to the spirit of the man,” the KCCI while showering praise on Vohra said.
Expressing hope that the new dispensation led by Mehbooba Mufti would come to the expectations of the people, the Chamber assured her all the support and said: “We need to put the proverbial bowl down and work together for creating an environment where our people excel.”
“We assure you that we possess the talent, the potential and the resources. The common man is looking forward for a corruption free, transparent and an accountable government and we at KCCI hope they come to the expectations of the people. The credible leadership and a team with a sense of purpose is a precondition,” the Chamber said.
