KCPS holds Investiture Ceremony of Jr Wing

JAMMU, May 17: 52 students of Junior Wing of KC Public School were appointed to positions of leadership and responsibility in the Students’ Council of the school for the academic year 2018-19.
In an elegant Investiture Ceremony held at the open-air theatre on school campus, they were administered collective oath of office by school Headmistress Sofia Rana in the presence of their parents.
Harshita Dev Singh and Aryaveer Verma were appointed Head Girl and Head Boy of the Junior Wing respectively.
As a global member school of the Round Square, KCPS puts into practice the 12 skill-based tenets of Round Square Discovery framework (RSDF) in all its academic and co-curricular activities.
Before taking oath of office, students reiterated their faith in the six ideals of the Round Square and character-building tenets of RSDF through singing, dancing and cheer-chanting which constituted the short cultural programme on the occasion.
The ceremony concluded with a vibrant dance choreographed by dance teacher Akash.
