KCPS student shines in Finance Fundas Examination

JAMMU, Mar 6: In a Brainsalt Education Online Finance Fundas Examination was held recently, wherein Ribhav Mittal, a class 11 Commerce student of KC Public School earned laurels by bagging the All India 3rd position along with a cash prize of Rs 2,000.
The Junior Finance Wiz was launched by Finance Fundas with an objective of taking financial literacy to every school and every student across India.
Exposure to concepts of savings, wealth- creation, banking, investments, trade and commerce at an early age enables children to make better life decisions.
Students get acquainted with the real-life finance world through guidelines provided by Finance Fundas which help them immensely in various fields. With first time exposure to concepts in finance through study materials and practice tests, students enjoy learning through stories, examples and trivia.
The examination was conducted in four age groups.
150 Schools from all over the country participated in the program with KCPS being the only school from J&K.
The online dynamic assessment platform challenged the students to answer questions consistently and accurately. In a special assembly, Principal AK Mishra congratulated Ribhav for his excellent performance in this novel online examination. It is pertinent to mention here that Finance Fundas is a holistic approach to sound financial knowledge that enables learners to understand the role of money, need and use of savings, advantages of investments and realistic recognition of the formal financial sector.
