JAMMU, Mar 2: NSS unit of KCS College of Education (Women) organized a guest lecture on “Enriching Higher Education from Vedic Point of View”, in which faculty members and students took part.
On the occasion, Dr Veena Gupta, Associate Prof, Government Engineering College was the resource person, who while speaking said that the Vedas were the original source of knowledge and wisdom and it is a treasure house of knowledge of ancient culture and civilization.
Dr Gupta asked the student community to differentiate the benefits of materialism and spiritualism and then select the right path.
President, Kalamkari Centre Society, US Chaudhri also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, Principal of the college, Prof OP Sharma presented the welcome address.
At the end, Dr Ashok Pandita, Associate Prof of the college presented vote of thanks.
