JAMMU, Nov 20: KCS College of Education (women) (KCSCE) organized two day workshop which concluded today on low cost teaching aids in the college premises.
The Principal of the College, Prof O P Sharma inaugurated the workshop and said that these types of workshops provide a platform to the students to exhibit their talent and help us to create imagination, thinking and creativity. He said that teaching aids are indispensable in the teaching-learning process, but efforts should always be made not to use thermocool, polythene and other indisposable items which create havoc in the environment. Therefore, he advised not to make use of these items in their teaching methodology.
The chairperson of the college, Purnima Chaudhri and president Kalamkari Centre Society, U S Chaudhri while going through the different aids, appreciated the role of teachers and students who have put in lot of energy and efforts to prepare the low cost teaching aids.
Finally, the vote of thanks was presented by Sneh Khanna, senior lecturer of the college.
