JAMMU, Aug 14: Kashmiri Displaced Pensioners Forum (KDPF) during a virtual meeting today organized by it made an appeal to Principal Accountant General, Jammu and Kashmir , Ila Singh to take the cognizance of the pending pension revision cases under SRO 222.
In a statement issued here, today Ramesh Raina senior functionary of the Forum said that his organization also appealed the Principal AG to establish a pension Grievances Cell in AG Office Jammu to address the problems of the pensioners.
The Forum leaders Ajit Koul and R K Pandita however complimented Ila Singh for taking various decisions in favour of pensioners like invoking of Article 242 of Civil Service Rules of UT of J&K which provide that for sanctioning of pension in favour of pensioners only the last two years service shall be scrutinized. Besides, the Pr. A G has ordered the pension in favour of divorced daughters of the pensioners which will really provide a succor to such people.
