JAMMU, Nov 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary and in charge J&K and Ladakh UTs Tarun Chugh today asked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal that whom he blames for increasing pollution in Delhi now.
In a statement Chugh said earlier the Delhi CM was blaming BJP-Akali or other parties’ Governments in Punjab for their failure in banning the setting of crop residue on fire. Earlier he always blamed farmers of Punjab for setting crop residue on fire as the main cause of growing pollution in Delhi, Chugh added.
Chugh said every year he (Kejriwal) used to level baseless allegations on Punjab but this time being AAP Government in Punjab, Kejriwal has sealed his lips. Taking a jibe at Kejriwal, Chugh said it seems that after coming AAP Government to power in Punjab the crop residue does not go to Delhi.
He accused the Kejriwal of misusing the resources of Punjab for his own political ends and said that the CM of Punjab is arranging the election rallies of the Delhi CM in poll bound states in State chopper of Punjab. This chopper is running on the tax given by the people of Punjab, he added.
The BJP leader said for the air travel of Kejriwal the Punjab State has to bear financial burden worth lakhs daily but to save his chair the Bhagwat Maan arranges chopper trips of his boss to MP, Rajasthan and Chatisgarh.
