Kejriwal visiting Doda today

JAMMU, Oct 9: After victory of Party candidate, Mehraj Malik from Doda Assembly constituency, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief, Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to visit mountainous Doda district tomorrow to address a public rally which the Party sources informed would be an event to thank the voters and to celebrate the maiden victory of AAP in J&K.

With victory of Malik, J&K has become the fifth State where AAP has elected representatives.
Malik had defeated BJP candidate, Gajay Singh Rana with a margin of 4538 votes after scoring 23228 votes as the results were announced yesterday when Kejriwal had congratulated Malik over a video call and accepted his invitation to visit Doda.
The video had gone viral within minutes after Kejriwal made a call to Malik in which the newly declared MLA had stated that he was inspired by Kejriwal and the achievements of AAP in Delhi.
A senior Police officer informed that venue of the rally would be sports stadium Doda and the scheduled time may be 1.30 pm.
