KATRA, Oct 22: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo, Arvind Kejriwal visited Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine and paid his obeisance during early hours today.
Official sources said that accompanied by his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, AAP supremo under tight security arrived at the shrine late last evening. He stayed at the Bhawan during last night and performed Darshan of the Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi during early morning.
The couple also participated in the morning Aarti at the Bhawan and then performed darshan of the Mata Vaishnodevi inside the cave. Many devotees were seen taking videos and photographs of the VIP couple at the Bhawan.
Then they returned to Katra base camp in a helicopter and left for Delhi in the afternoon from Jammu airport, the officials said.
