KATHUA, Aug 31: The irate residents of Kerian Gandyal today protested in front PDD Divisional Office Kathua and also tried to manhandle some engineers for their failure in replacing the damaged transformer in the area.
The protestors alleged that their transformer was damaged four times in one month and the authorities have not taken steps to remove the fault once for all. The people are fed up with the practice and they were forced to come to streets today and lodge a protest in front of PDD Office Kathua.
The protestors also warned that they will intensify the agitation in case the problem was not settled once for all.
