Kerni selected for Hinditar Bhasha Lekhak Puruskar

JAMMU, Mar 14: The prestigious Hinditar Bhasha Lekhak Puruskar for the year 2017 announced recently by Central Hindi Directorate, Union Ministry of Human Resources Development has been announced in favour of Ayodhya Nath Kerni for his book “Sudhmahadev” which depicts historical  back ground of temple an abode of lord Shiva.
The near by spots of religious and tourism importance have also been discussed in the book. Ayodhya Nath Kerni is a retiree of Defence Account Department who hails from village Dharamthal and is now living at Housing Colony Udhampur. His other book “Kerni Pandit” has also gained much popularity in the society. He has many articles at his credit published in leading papers and magazines regarding history and culture about  Udhampur and Chenani area.
