Can anybody please tell as to where kerosene is sold in the city or is available if one wants? For years we have not seen the colour of kerosene and the old Primus or Prabhat stoves wherever they still exist and would like to render some short service still are sore about non availability of kerosene in retail.
It has become so much scarce and rare that it mostly is sold to a few fortunate ones in black market or is diverted reportedly in some cases for adulteration. Recently a truck was intercepted and its driver arrested for smuggling this rare scarce commodity somewhere near R.S.Pura. Most of the cases are evidently going undetected. It would be prudent for the government to allow its retail sale even at non subsidized prices.
