JAMMU, Nov 14: Chairman Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra today distributes Disability Certificates among Divyang Jans (physically challenged persons).
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chopra lauded the cooperation extended by the Health Department working under the guidance of Secretary Health and Medical Education Bhupinder Kumar to the team of Samvedna Society for organising such regular camps at different locations so that Divyang people could apply for their Disability Certificate at one place.
This Certificate is required to apply for the disabled Pension and now they can take advantage of pension and other benefits of Government sponsored schemes, he added.
Keshav Chopra said that motive of the Samvedna Society is to provide the benefits of Government sponsored schemes to the needy people at their doorstep.
The Divyang beneficiaries thanked the Samvedna Society for helping them to get Disability Certificates at one place.
