JAMMU, Nov 20: To provide Aadhaar services at one place, Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra organised an Aadhaar enrollment camp for the employees of Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom Jammu and Directorate of Industries & Commerce Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Director Handloom & Handicrafts, Vikas Gupta. Through this Aadhaar camp, Samvedna Society provided the services such as new enrollment, biometric updation, correction of Aadhaar, mobile number updation, photograph change, unlock the biometric lock in Aadhaar etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Gupta said that due to their professional assignments, employees usually remain busy and so they couldn’t spare time to visit the camps to update their Aadhaar card. It’s a very good initiative of Samvedna Society to provide such services at the doorstep of the employees, he added and expressed gratitude to Chairman Samvedna Society for organising the Aadhaar camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chopra said that the aim of organizing this camp was to help the employees to easily get the Aadhaar services at their office and Samvedna will continue conducting such camps in future also so that Government employees can easily get these services.
Amit Sharma, Assistant Extension Officer, Vinay Sood Section Officer, Gagandeep Singh Industrial Promotion Officer, Bitoo Ram MTS, Himanshu Khajuria, Rakesh Pandita MTS, Operator Rahul Lalotra, Manoj Tandon, Divyansh Gupta, Sushil, Sourav and others were also present during the camp.
