JAMMU, Oct 15: Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra organized 87th free health check up camp at Muskan Home for Mentally Challenged Children at Channi Rama.
The Camp was inaugurated by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma. Dr Sakshi Sahni (Eye Surgeon from KD Hospital Jammu) along with her team comprising Dr Rohit Gupta (Dental Surgeon) and Dr Neeraj Tekkar (Physician) examined the children. Medicines were also provided free of cost to the needy children.
Speaking on the occasion, the DIG mentioned the importance of regular check-up camps. He highlighted how the efforts of the Samvedna team are contributing to the betterment of mankind.
Keshav Chopra said that this camp was planned exclusively to benefit the children of Muskan Home and also to foster a culture that is devoted to the serving of common man. He said they will continue to organize such camps in future also so that maximum people can take advantage of it.
Station House Officer of Trikuta Nagar, Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia, Bansi Lal Bhagat (Administrator of Muskan Home), Shashank Rawal (Field Officer Red Cross), Reeta Rani (Staff Nurse), Sheetal Bhagat (Educator), Rajni Devi (Warden), Anju, Sushil Gupta, Sourav Gupta, Manoj Tandon, Vikas Kumar, Divyansh Gupta and others were also present during the camp.
