RAJOURI, Oct 7: Sarpanch, Panchs and people of Kewal Panchayat in Budhal block of Rajouri district today boycotted the third phase of Back to Village program and alleged that the issues raised during previous two phases before the administration have not been resolved till date.
Speaking to the media persons, Sarpanch, Farooq Inqalabi said that the administration is trying to cover up the failures of the Government by organizing such programs. He said that there is no need to hold such a programs which did not benefit the people as it only waste the time of the people and also put a burden on the public exchequer.
Farooq said that people can not be befooled any more. And after consultation with public of the area , his Panchayat boycotted the program. He said that even if the single work projected during phase 1 and 2 of Back to Village program conducted last year had been started by the administration, they would have taken part in the program but the administration did nothing but befooled the people.
