UDHAMPUR, May 14: BJP vice president, Pawan Khajuria today distributed sanitizers and masks among the people during the celebration of Jayanti of Bhagawan Purshoram at Hanuman Mandir, New Bus Stand here. On the occasion Pooja -Archana was held to invoke blessings of Lord Purshoram. The devotees prayed the Lord to save the humanity all over world from the present Pandemic.
The function was organised by Parshoram Yuva Dal and the social distancing and other COVID SOPs were fully observed on the occasion.
Talking to media, Pawan Khajuria said in Udhampur Parshoram Jayanti is celebrated every year by Yuva Dal with great pomp and show and on this occasion Shoba Yatras are taken out in the town. But due to COVID, the celebrations were not made to that extent last year and this time all the SOPs were observed in celebrating the function in a simple and impressive way.
He said during the programme sanitizers and masks were distributed among the people and he appealed the people to follow the COVID guidelines in the same way so that we will defeat this virus once for all.
BJP Executive Committee member, Rakesh Gupta, BJP district vice president and councilor, Vikas Sharma, Ramneek, Mandal vice president, Rahul Gupta, Virender Badyal, Vishal Sharma, Raj Kumar , Naateshwar Ved etc were present.
