Khajuria highlights problems of farmers

JAMMU, Sept 18: Romesh Khajuria, BJP leader and Vice Chairman, WWEPC, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India has raised various problems of Bishnah area in the Adhikar Abhiyan camp organised by the Jammu administration under 21 days Jan Abhiyan programme launched from September 10 to October 1.
Khajuria along with the deputation of farmers met SDM Jammu South and raised various issues related to problems of farmers.
He also submitted a memorandum to SDM Jammu South on behalf of inhabitants of Rehal village demanding removal of rotten garbage lying in the middle of the village in front of the main gate of Government Higher Secondary school Rehal.
Khajuria said that this garbage is dumped by the land mafia with the intention to encroach the land. He further stated that rotten garbage dumped there since years smelling badly and can spread virus, infections and other diseases which could be dangerous for the human life.
Khajuria said that earlier programmes like Back to Village 1 ,Back to Village 2 and people out reach by Centre and State Governments were successful and helped the administration to reach to grass root level and recently started Jan Abhiyan and Back to Village 3 programmes will also help the people at grass root level .
Prominent among in the deputation were Tirath Ram, Sarpanch Rehal, Dewan Chand, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sonu, Doni and others .
