Khan asks State to follow Central suit on DA installment

JAMMU, Sept 21: Abdul Majid Khan, president of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation, has asked the State Government to follow the Central suit releasing 10 percent DA installment to its employees and pensioners.
In a statement, Mr Khan said that the DA installment will provide some relief to the pensioners and employees in view of the soaring prices.
He also demanded increase in minimum daily wage to Rs 300, remuneration of Village Guards at par with daily wages, adequate revision of honourarium of Numberdars, Anganwari workers, ReT, Education Volunteers, adhoc, contractuals and consolidated paid employees who are facing severe financial constraints to meet their bare minimum domestic needs and enhancement of Medical Allowance to Rs 1000.
