JAMMU, May 11: Satish Khandare, an Indian Police Services (IPS) officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, has been posted as new Inspector General of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
An order to this effect was issued today by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
Khandare had earlier held various significant postings in Jammu and Kashmir though he mostly remained on deputation to Centre and Maharashtra.
He is 1995 batch IPS officer of J&K cadre.
