Khanna appointed BJP Central Disciplinary Committee Member

JAMMU, June 6: BJP national vice-president & Prabhari for Jammu & Kashmir, Avinash Rai Khanna, has been appointed as Member of Party’s Central Disciplinary Committee. He has been bestowed with this organizational responsibility by BJP national president, Amit Shah.
Avinash Rai Khanna, who is currently looking after three states of Rajasthan, Goa and Jammu & Kashmir as their Prabhari, is national vice-president in BJP’s organizational setup.
Khanna started his political career in Punjab, his home State and was elected as MLA from Garh Shanker, State president Punjab BJP, Lok Sabha Member and Rajya Sabha, Member respectively. Besides, he held important positions at national level including national vice chairman, Indian Red Cross Society.
The party has given him this important responsibility keeping in view his long experience in pubic and organizational matters which earned him the distinction of being a seasoned politician.
Meanwhile, the State BJP has greeted Avinash Rai Khanna on being appointed as Member of Central Disciplinary Committee and wished him success in carrying out his new assignment in line with the policies and principles of the party.
