JAMMU, Jan 30: BJP National vice-president and prabhari for J&K State, Avinash Rai Khanna today called a meeting of BJP leaders and reviewed overlooking various arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of PM Modi’s rally to be conducted out at AIIMS Ground, Vijaypur on February 3.
Khanna was also accompanied by BJP State president Ravinder Raina, State general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul and other senior leaders from the State, in the meeting conducted at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
While addressing the meeting, Khanna imparted useful tips for the smooth and successful conduct of rally and reviewed all the associated arrangements. He threadbare discussed important points related to the preparations for the rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate prestigious AIIMS and many other projects on the day on which projects to the tune of Rupees 35,000 crore will be laid out for the development of Jammu region.
Khanna, asked the senior leaders from the State BJP to carry out thorough ground work for the various arrangements in their own supervision especially focusing on traffic management, vehicular movement, public convenience, drinking water facility, toilet facilities, parking of vehicles, decoration etc. He said that as the people will be visiting in large numbers to listen to their popular Prime Minister Narendra Modi, adequate security and other arrangements should be ensured in connivance with the local administration.
Ravinder Raina, provided various details of arrangements made by the State BJP for the grand rally of PM Modi to National vice-president. While discussing the preparations at the local level and the work allotted to various committees, he claimed that the love and faith of Jammuites for the people’s leader Modi ji will be evident, when common masses will throng the rally site in massive number on February 3rd.
BJP State general secretaries Dr Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and Sunil Sethi, State secretaries Sanjay Baru and Arvind Gupta, State press secretary Dr Pardeep Mahotra, District president Jangbir Singh and Keshav were present in the meeting.
