JAMMU, Jan 1: Convener Holy Cow Cell of Muslim Rashtriya Morcha, Mohammad Faiz Khan who is on Gau Sewa Sadhbhavana Yatra walking across the country has been given warm welcome by the Members of the Morcha on his arrival here, today.
Khan has started his yatra on June 24 from Leh Ladakh to Kanya Kumari then to Amritsar covering 25 states of the country and a distance of 15,000 kms. He reached in the City of Temples today. Talking to media persons after his arrival here Khan said that only cow dung and urine can cure the cancer like diseases. The main cause of cancer is urea, fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals used in farming sector, he added.
He appealed the Government to start cow sanctuaries like tiger reserves to protect the cows. “The Government should purchase cow dung and urine from farmers that will protect the cows as well as cure fatal diseases of human beings”, he said.
Quoting Vedas he said “Gavo Vishvashya Matarah” meaning cow is mother of whole world. Prophet Mohammad has said that fat of cow like milk, ghee etc are curing and beef is cause of serious diseases. He also appealed the people not to make any dispute on the name of cow as cow is not for any particular community but for entire humanity, its good health and prosperity, he added.
The Yatra will reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan on January 3 with the message of peace, brotherhood and oneness.
Earlier Sadhbhavana yatra was welcomed at Satwari Chowk, Jammu by BJP leader Vijay Gupta, Gajan Sharma, Jai Bharat Manch, Mazoor Khatana , provincial convener, Muslim Rashtriya Manch, Girish Juail Rashtriya Sangathan Sanyojak and advocate Shiraz Quareshi of National Intellectuals Cell. The yatra will finally conclude at Raj Ghat, New Delhi on January 29.
Ramesh Khajuria Member National Working Committee of the Manch welcomed Khan a shawl and also organized a rousing reception for him at Jammu. Khan reciprocated his goodwill gesture.
Others who accompanied in the yatra included Kishan Rai, Pyush Rai, Baba Pardeshi Ram, Ms Anupama, K D Himachali, Irfan Sheikh, Kallash Vaishno, Mohammed Habib Ullah.
