Khatri Maha Sabha for settling of long pending demands of migrants

JAMMU, May 6: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sahba has urged the Union Government to solve the long pending demands of Kashmiri Hindu migrants.
In this regard the Sabha president, Ramesh Chander Sharma has submitted memorandum to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and Union Minister in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh apprising them about the burning issue of Kashmiri migrants and non migrants of Kashmir Valley. The memorandum urged the Government to fulfil the demands of displaced people living in a pathetic condition.
The memorandum demanded enhancement of monthly cash relief, creation of additional 35000 posts in Government Departments, semi and public sector in lieu of 27000 migrant employees who had retired since last 32 years. It further demanded on spot recruitment drive be launched in all police forces for unemployed youth.
The memorandum further demanded grant of special financial package in Prime Minister’s Self Employment and Skill Development for starting up the businesses cum SSI venture , MSME and entrepreneurship under mission youth initiative programme so that the migrant youth can avail benefits up to over age limit of 55 years with one time compensation of Rs 30 lakh to over aged youths.
It demanded grant of minority status to seven lakh Kashmiri Hindus and providing facilities of all national scholarship scheme with 50% of reserved seats along with concession of 40% marks and reservation of 10 seat each in all category of Civil Service Examination and PM Scooty Yojana under -graduate girls and disability and handicapped schemes etc , Bharat Darshan tour scheme and the facilities of various youths sports & service with curriculum activities to students.
Seven lakhs Kashmiri Hindu seeking reservation with nomination of eight MLAs in Assembly constituencies of Union Territory of J&K once for all and reservation of one seat each in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
