JAMMU, Aug 10: Mortal remains of Khazan Chand Rana who passed away yesterday, were consigned to flames at Shastri Nagar Cremation Ground here today.
A large number of people took part in the last rites of Khazan Chand, who is survived by his wife Gurbachan Kumari Rana (former Minister), two sons Danish Rana (DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range), Vishesh Rana; daughters Dr Yogitra Rana (IAS), Dr Parikh Rana and daughter- in-law Sarita Chauhan (Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry J&K Govt).
Late Khazan Chand was among the first batch of KAS officers who did his graduation in Political Science from AMU and served the Government at various positions.
