KHBOA threatens to go on strike

SRINAGAR, July 3: Kashmir Houseboat Owners Association (KHBOA) has threatened to go on protest strike if their demands were not redressed by the Government at the earliest.
General meeting of the Kashmir Houseboat Owners Association (KHBOA) was held under the chairmanship of its president Azim Tuman which discussed the problems in general and hike in electricity tariff in particular.
While speaking, Azim Tuman said that KHBOA had approached Chief Minister and concerned authorities for redressal of their problems and also submitted charter of demands, but till date nothing has been done, compelling them to go on protest strike.
