JAMMU, Oct 17; Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) in a meeting here today held under the chairmanship of ML Thusoo while discussing the problems confronted to the youth of the community said that  the over aged KP youth are worst hit of the turmoil.
Mr Thusoo said this class of youth is suffering from low intensity depression because of social and domestic constraints as the doles of relief can’t replace the source of livelihood for a dignified lifestyle.
Mr Thusoo urged the Government to come to the rescue of these youth.
P L Koul Budgami, convener KHC lambasted the Union Government for its apathy towards Kashmiri Pandits which has generated a resentment among the community. The long forced exile has withered the community and youth in particular who stayed back in camps and rented accommodations in Jammu. He urged the Government to plan a strategy for the youth to bring them out of depression and commotion.
K L Ganjoo senior vice president expressed concern over changing socio-political conditions in the Valley and growing intolerance among the youth. This warrants the KPs settlement at one place in Kashmir, he added.
