KHC holds meet

JAMMU, Nov 26: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) met under the chairmanship of M L Thusoo to take stock of the Assembly elections in the State.
Mr Thusoo in his address expressed great satisfaction on the commendable role of the community members. The active role of KP community members in the ensuring elections forced the separatists to sideline themselves from the boycott call.
P L Koul Budgami, congratulating the community members that their campaigning in the Valley despite of many risks have a sparking in the separatists camps. Their enthusiasm has changed the election scenario in the Valley, he added.
K L Ganjoo, vice president speaking on the occasion said the nationalist role of the KPs in the ensuing elections will be remembered for a long time to come as the separatists and others were forced to change their old line of boycott. This is the first step won by the community members making the voting ratio thick as compared to previous records in the valley.
