KHC ridicules CM’s statement on Ireland type solution to Kashmir

JAMMU, Oct 30: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) executive body met under the chairmanship of M L Thusoo in which the affairs of displaced people were discussed.
Mr Thusoo while addressing the meeting expressed surprise over the statement of Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister and working president NC to Telegraph about Britain’s Northern Ireland type settlement for Kashmir. He said after plebiscite and autonomy it is another gimmick of NC. Mr Thusoo accused the party of befooling the Kashmiris all along.
P L Koul Badgami, convener KHC expressing his concern over the activities of Jehadis and militant organizations especially in Baramulla and Kupwara districts, said the Wahabi School of thought is fortifying its hold in the entire Valley. This school of thought has backing of militant organizations and they have taken people of Kashmir to ransom which is causing a great danger to pluralistic culture of Valley, he added.
K L Ganjoo senior vice president of KHC appreciated the maturity of the community members for not getting swayed by the cheap dolls of the Union Government for return and rehabilitation. The Conference reiterated its demand for rehabilitation at one place in Valley.
