JAMMU, May 29: A meeting of Prabandhak Committee Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Manzgam was held here today under the chairmanship of its president Kuldeep Raina to finalize arrangements for annual yatra to holy shrine of Mata Kheer Bhawani Manzgam, annual hawan at the shrine on June 12 and Abhinav Gupt Yatra at holy shrine on June 5.
It was decided that yatris will leave Jammu on June 10 in the morning from Director School Education Office, Muthi in buses. One bus will pick up yatris from Jagti Nagrota also. The Relief Commissioner Migrants has already been approached for the same.
The pooja and Sandhoor ceremony of holy Sandal (Chandan) tree will be performed on June 11 as per tradition and the hawan will start on same day in the evening. The Puranahuti will be performed next day in the afternoon which will be followed with the distribution of prasad among devotees.
