JAMMU, May 13: In order to facilitate the annual Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra 2018 and in continuation of the meeting with the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti recently, a meeting under the chairmanship of Kiran Wattal convener, Mata Kheer Bhawani Management Committee in presence of various volunteers and local volunteers was held here, today.
The meeting was attended by Prem Sharma, Kuldip Luthra wherein a threadbare discussion was held to make this year’s yatra a success and to provide all facilities to yatries during their journey to and fro with provisions of registration, transport, medicare, langar and security etc.
Wattal informed that in this context a meeting is being held on May 16 with Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants, M L Raina as Relief Organization is Government Nodal agency for making all arrangements of yatra.
A similar meeting is being held with Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Hemant Sharma for providing facilities to the yatries enroute, he added.
The volunteers of the Management Committee assured their full cooperation to make the yatra a success, especially the women volunteer participants with their offered services.
The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks to all the participants for showing their whole hearted service offer for such a enthusiastic religious venture and it expressed hope that Mata Kheer Bhawani will bring peace in Reshwari to resettle Kashmir Pandits in their mother land.
Those who attended the meeting included Pintoo Ji, Pyari Lal Thusoo, Ajay Bhat, Aryan Ramesh, Rohit Bhat ,Bharti Ji, Anita Chandpuri, Shoki Lidoo, Rajesh Sharma, Anil Raina.
