SRINAGAR, Sept 12: The members of Khidmat Centre Association continued their protest on 2nd day here in Srinagar. The Khidmat Centre owners from across Kashmir are protesting against discrimination by the J&K Government.
The protestors alleged that the once-promising e-Governance project, envisioned as a beacon of progress for J&K, was facing a perilous future due to official neglect.
The members of association underscored the severe deviation from established guidelines and the undue influence exerted by J&K Bank on the project’s direction. This deviation has resulted in the systemic redirection of the youth, originally engaged by J&K Bank in 2009, towards exclusive service provision for J&K Bank disregarding the core objectives set forth in the project’s guidelines.
They demanded voluminous BC roll out by J&K Bank and scraping of transfer policy right to their legal heirs.
They further warned to continue their protest till their demands are not met by the concerned authorities soon.
