JAMMU, June 7: BJP leader and in charge Cells Sat Sharma (CA) today alleged that the Khour Assembly Segment which is represented by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand sans basic facilities of life.
Mr Sharma who conducted the tour of the Constituency and held a mass contact programme aimed at taking stock of the problems being faced by the people in different areas of the Constituency said that people in these areas face problems like poor road connectivity, non installation of transformers, lack of electricity wires and poles besides the discriminatory attitude of the Government in extending benefits under BPL, Indira Awaas Yojna and other centrally sponsored schemes.
He said even after 67 years of independence the people in the Constituency are deprived of the basic amenities of life.
District Akhnoor BJP general secretary, Suraj Singh, Pargwal Mandal president Jai Singh, vice president Shamsher Singh and others also accompanied him.
